We realize that the world of Affiliate Marketing is new to many people, and that certain questions will arise. We have tried to compile several of the most common questions (and the answers!) below. Okay, I'm signed up - now what?
We want you to get started earning cash right away! If this is all new to you, you need to start in the "Getting Started" section. Listen to some of the conference calls, and read the "18-Day Jumpstart Guide" to give you a running start!
When will I receive my affiliate checks?
Commissions are calculated on a monthly basis, on the last day of each month. Payments are processed on the 5th of each month, so you should receive your check soon thereafter! Commissions of less than $25 may be held until you accumulate a little bit more - so go out and promote some other products! All commission payments are made in US Dollars, and are payable by check drawn on a US bank or through PayPal.
What if I am located in another country outside the United States?
We have affiliates in many countries located throughout the world! Canada, Mexico, Europe, Sweden, France, China, Germany, South America just to name a few! We love international sales, and encourage you to participate in the CCU system!
The major difference for international affiliates is the method of payment. For all commissions earned outside the United States, payment is made via PayPal ONLY. If you do not have a PayPal account, you must establish one at www.PayPal.com before you can receive any commissions from us.
Can I purchase products through my OWN affiliate link?
We realize that it is easy for you to just have your friend place the order, so YES - you can sign up as an affiliate and purchase products for your own use. As a matter of fact, we encourage it! How else will you know the true value of the products unless you have tried them yourself?
HOWEVER - there are a few instances where you may NOT purchase products/services through your own link. Those include, but are not limited to: Membership Sites (with monthly fees); special affiliate functions or events; limited partner products/services that are restricted due to third-party contracts.
Can I use these strategies with OTHER people's products and services?
By all means! The strategies that Chip and the other team members at CCU have used (and proven effective!) have been used on hundreds of different products and services from around the globe. Take these ideas and try them with your other affiliate arrangements - they will work anywhere!
